About our Escape Room
What is an escape room?
Real-life room escape games are a type of physical adventure game in which people are put in a room with other participants and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and escape the room within a set time limit. In our first theme room (Dr Villainous’ Lair) you will have to beat the 60 minute timer to stop a doomsday device before it goes off!

We pride ourselves in our attention to detail, technical knowledge and realism. With the help of our colleagues in various fields such as Psychology, Medicine, Engineering, Education and Software Development we hope to bring a new angle to the escape room phenomenon that is taking over Canada.
What we want most is for you to lose yourself in an amazing adventure with your friends, while testing your wit against our challenging room puzzles.

FAQ
Q. We have Gift Certificates, how we we book?
A. We do not require a deposit if you wish to use a gift certificate. Please contact us via our form and provide us with the desired date and time of an open slot and we’ll be happy book it for you. Please note in the form that you intend to pay with a gift certificate.
Q. It’s last minute but we want to book, we cannot see your calendar, how do we book?
A. Give us a call at (204) 772-5745 and see what we have available. All last minute bookings done in this manner do not require a deposit. We will be happy to let you know what is open for your escape enjoyment, and we can complete the booking over the phone!
Q. Do you accept outside of hour bookings?
A. Yes we do, we make all attempts to be available when you or your organization would like us to be available. To request a special appointment contact us via our form and notify us of the date and time you’d like. We’ll get back to you shortly to make arrangements.
Q. Oh no, it’s less than 24 hours and something extreme has come up we will able to make the booking did we lose the deposit?
A. All is not lost. If it is less than 24 hours and you will not be able to make the room we will not be able to return the deposit. If you contact us before your appointment and notify us we will be happy to rebook you session for a different date.
Q. What if I need to use the bathroom during the game or leave for other reasons?
A: For safety reasons you can always leave the way we bring you in. We suggest you use the bathroom before the game starts.
Q. Do you have age restrictions for your guests?
A: Although participants of all ages are welcome to join our games with adult supervision, we recommend ages 14 and up for maximum enjoyment. However, we have had an 8 year old help their group! Sometimes a different perspective is extremely useful when noticing hidden objects or patterns in the room.
Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. Currently we only accept payment via Credit Card and Cash. We are working to implement a system which will allow for debit transactions.
Q. I don’t have a credit card, how can I make a booking?
A. This is not a problem! We understand that not everyone wants a credit card, and we do not want to limit your enjoyment of our game. If you do not want to use a credit card but want to book a session please contact us via our form and send us the desired date / time that you wish to book. The security deposit for the room can then be either dropped off at our store or via a e-transfer to us. We can discuss this after you notify us of the booking.
Q. How much does it cost?

Q. How often will you change your room?
A: It depends on popularity and a few other factors. It could be anywhere from 6 to 10 months. We will be launching a second room shortly, our plan is to change out that room on a more regular basis.
Q. What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
A: African or European? It’s a Monty Python thing.
Q. Are there other businesses like this in Winnipeg already?
